We are committed to providing exceptional patient care, and in the midst of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we want to provide you with as much information as possible about the procedures we will be following.
To this end, our team is frequently accessing guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Colorado Department of Health, Executive Orders issued by Governor Polis and other agencies so we can continue to follow best practices and provide you with the most updated information.
So we want to share several of the steps we are taking to keep you safe:
Our front office representatives will ask the following:
1) Are you are experiencing symptoms such as fever (higher than 100 degrees F);
2) Are you are experiencing shortness of breath, or cough;
3) Have you traveled to a region having cases of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the 14 days.
4) Have come into contact with a person confirmed to have COVID-19.
If you have any of the above symptoms or meet the above conditions, please call us at (719) 630-1006 to reschedule your appointment.
El Paso County has issued a mandate requiring people to wear some kind of face-covering when at an essential business. Please be sure when coming to your appointment that you have a face mask on at all times.
When you are checking in for your appointment, our Intake Coordinators and Receptionists will be asking the above series of questions each time you arrive at a Summit Medical facility. If necessary, we may take your temperature and you may need to be rescheduled.
Some individuals who received their COVID-19 vaccination received statement indicating that they owe a balance for the vaccine administered at Summit Medical Clinic. These patient statements were generated due to software error. Please disregard any statement that you may have received for the COVID-19 vaccine. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
