Mary Levy, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC has 30 years of experience as a Registered Nurse and Bachelor of Science in Nursing with various management and clinical experience as an Administrator and Director of Nursing of her owned and operated home health agency to being a bedside nurse with experience in ICU and step down unit, acute and hospital settings in different specialties, post-ortho rehabilitation, long term acute care hospitals (LTACH) managing patients on ventilation who were transferred from intensive care of critical care unit.

She eventually pursued her passion in making a difference in people’s lives by successfully completing a Master of Science in Nursing with specialty on Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University, San Diego California.

Mary is originally from the Philippines and graduated her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Centro Escolar University in 1994. She still speaks her native Ilonggo dialect and Tagalog fluently if spoken to by Filipino patients.

She has previously owned and operated several healthcare companies including certifying and accrediting a JCAHO and Medicare certified home health agencies and personal care agencies and services. Moving to Colorado Springs in 2013 Mary has also ventured into consulting and helping home health care companies succeed and passed their state and certification surveys with Medicare and Medicaid requirements. With all these in mind Mary can case manage some socio-economic needs of patients needing some community resources and assistance if needed.

Mary’s advocacy for “primary prevention” focuses to prevent disease or injury before it ever occurs. To reach optimum health every individual may have to alter unhealthy or unsafe behaviors and lifestyle to prevent exposures to hazards that can cause or lead to disease.

Mary is now happy to serve as one of the primary care providers as Advance Practitioner Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner–Board Certified resident of Colorado Springs.
